INNOCENT TO READERS AND EDITORS OF MARVEL.

This is a story of how Frank Brunner and Steve Englehart managed to sneak a small controversy over them an argument of Dr. Strange called "Sise-neg" (Genesis) that appeared in MARVEL PREMIERE in the seventies, where in short, was the presence of the sorcerer supreme according to "God" as he created the universe.
They had completed the number 14 and apparently for some reason, nobody paid attention editorially to what both were doing until it was published the number and Stan Lee (he saw or did someone see) wrote a letter to Englehart and Brunner saying, "we can not do God. You're going to have to put a retraction in the column of letters saying that this is not 'the' God it is just another god. "
All this in 1.973, and Lee always wanted to stay out of any mess that he has not caused it. Brunner
The artist said, "if we retractábamos, all we did was useless. This happened when we were in California. Steve had gone to Texas for something and when we met, conspired to forge a letter from a Reverend Billingsley of Texas, a person does not exist.
This would say in the letter that one of the children of his parish showed him the story and was left stunned and bewildered, saying 'this is the best comic I've read! " and we signed with the false name of Austin, Texas.
When Steve returned to Texas, from there he sent the letter to have the appropriate stamp. Then, both received a phone call from Roy Thomas and said, 'hey, on that withdrawal, I will send a letter, and instead of withdrawal I want you to print this letter! " And it was our letter! We publish this letter! Hey, it worked! Steve and I thought 'wow, this is perfect! " Then we found out that Jim Starlin was in New York who was reading mail from fans at the offices of Marvel and it was he who first read the letter, he believed it was all true and the gave Roy, who in turn showed it to Stan! "Confessions
two conspirators.
